Public + Architectural Work

Jay Handy’s print-based imagery can move beyond paper into architectural glass, illuminated panels, and site-responsive installations. Working from his original drypoint, chine collé, and photographic compositions, the imagery can be translated and scaled for healthcare, hospitality, corporate, residential, and public environments.

Glass introduces light as an active material. Images shift with illumination, distance, and the movement of people through a space, allowing an intimate work that began on paper to take on an entirely different architectural presence.

Handy works collaboratively with fabricators, designers, architects, consultants, and commissioning organizations to adapt existing imagery or develop work for a particular site.
