Description:

Some elements are more powerful at bringing humans together than others, and water is one of those powerful, connecting elements. Surrounded by a patchwork of colorful, dyed chine collé, a group of young boys throw their arms over each other while in Lake Monona at B.B. Clarke Beach. Using color and outlining, the image of the boys huddled together merges with the surrounding scene, emphasizing how deeply entwined with our environments—especially our local watering holes—humans can be.
